Conceptually, this t-shirt is about contradiction in points of view (i.e religion) and the misconception of St Peter’s Cross which is often associated with themes of satanism and the Anti-Christ when in fact it is a well known Christian symbol. The choice of black and white cause harsh contrast which is a metaphor for the conflicting views on this symbol. Also when people refer to something as being ‘black and white’ they’re trying to tell you that something is obvious or clear which is a contradiction in this context since this symbol is so misinterpreted.
